Our partner organization READ responded to the COVID crisis in several ways:
- Production of masks by the READ staff, with distribution to the local population, police, healthcare workers
- Distribution of food packages and other basic supplies to the most needy in the community, including the elderly, and people with disabilities or HIV infection. Food is also distributed to the children in Sahaya/READ’s orphan sponsorship program.
